1. Manufacturer Approval Requirement
All requests for returns, refunds, or exchanges are strictly subject to the prior approval of the product manufacturer. Our company serves as a distributor/retailer; therefore, we must adhere to the specific protocols and authorization requirements set forth by the brand that produced the item.
2. Adherence to Manufacturer Terms
All products sold through our store are governed by the advertised Terms & Conditions and Warranty Policies provided by their respective manufacturers.
- Eligibility for a return (e.g., timeframes, condition of the item, original packaging) is determined solely by the manufacturer’s policy.
- We cannot override a manufacturer’s decision to deny a return or refund request if it does not meet their specific criteria.
3. The Process for Returns
To initiate a return or exchange request, please follow these steps:
- Contact Support: Email us at contact@evonomy.com with your order number and the reason for the return.
- Manufacturer Review: We will forward your request to the product manufacturer for review.
- Authorization: If approved, we will provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number and specific shipping instructions.
- Note: Items sent back without an approved RMA may be rejected and returned to the sender at their expense.
4. Shipping and Restocking Fees
- Shipping Costs: Unless the manufacturer’s policy states otherwise, the customer is responsible for all shipping costs associated with returning an item.
- Restocking Fees: Many manufacturers charge a restocking fee (typically 10%–25%) for returned items. These fees will be deducted from your final refund amount.
5. Non-Returnable Items
Items that typically fall outside of manufacturer return eligibility include:
- Products that have been used, altered, or damaged by the customer.
- Items missing their original serial numbers or UPC codes.
- Customized or “made-to-order” products.
6. Order Cancellation
EVONOMY Energy is committed to fast shipping for all customer orders, where we typically have orders ready for freight pick-up within 2-3 hours from receiving order payment. EVONOMY Energy does not charge a restocking fee for orders cancelled within 4-hours of being placed, excluding orders for solar panels sold in quantities less than 1 pallet which are subject to a 5% repackaging and restocking fee. Orders cancelled after 4-hours from being placed are subject to a 5% restocking fee. Orders paid using a Credit Card, Google Wallet, Link, or Stripe also are subject to a 3% return fee. Any repackaging, restocking and return fees are transferred into a store credit for future purchases.
7. Limitation of Liability
Our company is not responsible for delays in the manufacturer’s review process or for any changes made to a manufacturer’s warranty or return policy without prior notice.
